You wake up in a clean sterile room. None of your belongings are with you. You sit up in your hospital gown, looking around. There is a machine humming next to you. You may pick a dress or a suit. You can even pick the color of the dress from Official-picked colors. The plate on the machine lowers, then returns with your outfit. Once you are dressed, you are led to the air train, where you will be Matched with your partner, given a house, a family, a job. The Society wants your day to be perfect. ❦ Matched is a panfandom, invite-only game based on the books by Ally Condie. It will have elements of horror, sci-fi, and slice-of-life. The game is set in the Provinces, a futuristic, Dystopian society controlled by the Society. Travelers are taken from their worlds and matched with one another. They are to live in the Outer Provinces in a special area called the Traveler's Province. They are to follow the rules, and have perfect lives. In reality, the Traveler's Province is an experiment, and the Travelers are the test subjects. |
